From November 27th to 29th, 2014, the National Geotechnical Engineering In-situ Testing New Technology Forum was held as scheduled at the Furi International Hotel in Wenling, Zhejiang Province. The meeting was organized by the Geotechnical Engineering Testing Committee of the Architectural Society of China. Organized by the Provincial Civil Engineering Society Engineering Investigation Committee, Wenling Nanguang Geological Instrument Co., Ltd., and more than 110 geotechnical engineering experts from all over the country (18 provinces, more than 20 systems) attended the meeting.
The meeting opened on November 28th. The organizer, on behalf of Secretary-General Xia Qun, presided over the meeting, which indicated that the meeting was to promote the application of advanced in-situ testing new technologies and products, and summarize the experience of field engineering testing in recent years. China's in-situ testing application level is the theme of the conference. First of all, Professor Liu Songyu from Southeast University of China gave a warm speech. The representative of Wenling Municipal Government, Wu Huiqi, introduced the economic development status of Wenling City. Chen Huafeng, the chairman of Nanguang Geological Instrument Co., Ltd., gave a welcome speech to the representatives attending the meeting and introduced Nanguang. A number of in-situ testing new products developed by the company over the past 20 years. Since the 1990s, 'Nanguang Company' has cooperated with the Engineering Survey In-situ Testing Technology Development Center and the Geotechnical Testing Professional Committee since the 1990s, and has held the experience of nine geotechnical engineering in-situ testing new technologies and new product seminars. The representative’s affirmation and warm applause.
At the meeting, Mr. Gu Guorong, a national surveying master, and Professor Liu Songyu from Southeast University made a special report on "Application of In-situ Testing in Engineering Design" and "Development of Modern Multi-functional CPTU Technology Theory and Engineering Application". Two reports aroused delegates. The strong response has been heatedly discussed and questioned about the application of new methods and techniques for in-situ testing of geotechnical engineering in China. The conference arrangement was very compact and substantial. Yang Shifei, Shanghai Geotechnical Investigation and Design Institute, worked on the “Deepening Research on the Method of Calculating the Bearing Capacity of Single Piles in Static Detecting”. The General Manager of Nanguang Company, Chen Yu, made the “New Generation of Domestic Flat Shovel Side Expander” ", the general manager of Shanghai Shunkai Yi Aihua made "Digital Static Probing Instrument Research and Application", the European and American Dadi Company's director of the "Development of the latest development of the side pressure testing technology" and other special reports, the participants agreed to benefit Shallow.
On November 29th, the meeting arranged in-situ testing of new technologies and new products on-site demonstrations. Representatives visited Nanguang Geological Instrument Co., Ltd. The technicians of ‘Nanguang’ also conducted a live demonstration of the products. The representatives of the product showrooms of the “Nanguang” company were very interested to listen to the introduction of the new products. In order to cope with the content of the meeting, 22 new in-situ testing technologies and new product papers published in various survey and testing periods in recent years were selected. The organizer compiled a book entitled "Selected Papers" for reference and exchange.
This meeting has achieved great success under the attention and support of the leaders and experts of geotechnical engineering survey and test in China. It has positive significance for promoting the application of in-situ testing of new technologies, new products and improving the level of in-situ testing technology in China.
